Contact ending and want a sim only deal with o2

My contract ends next month and I only want a sim deal 12 months contract only next. I've found a deal on uswitch with o2 that suits me. How do I go about selecting this deal and keeping my number and automatically switching to this once my contract end date passes so I don't go on a rolling 30 day contract. When do I select this deal ? Just before my current contract ends or just after it ends? Thanks

If you text the word 'INFO' to 85075 it will tell you how much is left on your present deal

I would suggest moving in the last couple of weeks.

Your MyO2 will tell you when you can upgrade.

You will be upgrading to a sim only deal.

Select the offer you want on uswitch and it will take you to O2 to complete the order.

You keep your number automatically and there's no need for a new sim.
