Hello, I had my tariff changed today by an O2 store staff member when I didn't want them to. The staff member did mention, though, that this change could be cancelled within 14 days. I called 202 this evening to cancel, and was told that they wouldn't cancel the change because it's for the same amount of GB, but cheaper. I however do not want to start a new 12 month contract right now (which is part of what the tariff change entails), especially when I want to research contracts and actually choose my own one, am not sure about staying with O2, etc.
I'm under the impression that I have the right to cancel within 14 days if I choose. Am I wrong? How do I actually go about cancelling?
