After leaving EE after taking out a virgin package with an O2 Sim since they tried to change me over I’ve had no mobile phone at all after numerous conversations with customer services they tell me they can’t do anything till Monday because they only work Monday to Friday I’ve now been without a phone for a week since I tried to change my number over from EE to O2 worst decision I ever made I think should’ve stopped with EE been there for 20 years not a problem now got a problem think very seriously before you go to O2

Has your old EE SIM stopped working? It *should* continue to work until your number has ported over.
Your O2 SIM should have a temporary number and *should* work on that number until the number port completes and your old number replaces it.
When did you give O2 your PAC? Transfers happen the following working day unless you provide it after 5pm (when it'll take 2 working days) or on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday when the transfer will happen on a Tuesday (this not just O2 but common across all operators).
