Hi, I had to phone to get a PAC code arrive I have two numbers on the account. I phoned 202, spoke to one person who transferred me to Virgin as my number has previously been there, Virgin then transferred me back to O2 who then text me a PAC code. What's worrying me is that he asked me to read out the code to check it was correct. I thought and decided to read it as I had phoned initially. However it's this correct that he asked me to read it out? Is there any way of checking my account is going where I want and I haven't been scammed?

All info on getting your PAC is here Guide: How to get your PAC [June 2021 Update]
If you have any concerns you need to contact O2 as they can access your account which we cant do here
Give O2 a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (Contract) 4445 or 0344 809 0222 (PAYG)
Or you can message O2 on social media on Instagram https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW).

Thank you I have called again and they confirmed they always ask as they have to put it back into their system to match, but they can't see it before they enter it.
