Hello

I am trying to register a new PAYG sim but the text messages are not coming through. Is there any other way to register the sim and start to get it on the network?

Thanks

@perc56

You need to top up to activate Guide How to Top Up (PAYG)

Guide: Text Message Tips (not sent or received) may help - otherwise a call to O2 CS on 4445 or tap them in social media, all ways shown in the link just below, @perc56.

Hi thanks for the replies.

It wont let me call 4444 or 4445 as it states not registered on network.

It does show a couple of bars on the signal strength meter on the phone.

Have you topped-up the new SIM, as mentioned above, @perc56?

Ways to do that all here: Guide How to Top Up (PAYG)

Minimum top-up amount is £10, but if you opted for a higher-value Bundle, you will need at least that amount in your top-up.  If your SIM is a £5 SIM, still top-up £10, but the amount will cover your for the first top-up, and, assuming you do not spend outside of what your tariff permits (eg, sending MMS or calling premium or international numbers, all of which are chargeable items), it will also cover your next top-up a month from now.

Good luck, @perc56.

@perc56

You can do anything unless you top up as I stated in the first reply.

Read how to top up here Guide How to Top Up (PAYG)
