I am overseas, I have a UK number with o2 but I did forget to top up my phone and I just topped up using my UK number while overseas but there is no network connection where I am thats working with o2 sim that I have from UK to connect or show that I just payed for a top up. Now I am having trouble logging into my o2 account fully due to this because I can not get my phone code and I just also topped up online to be able to use my phone but now can not. What can I do here?

It all depends on when you last topped up, and what PAYG tariff you have..

best thing to do is use Skype ( Guide: A Guide to Skype ) and call +44 800 081 0255 and then speak to customer services, as some of the PAYG plans have time limits on top ups..

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

OK. When did you last make a chargeable call?

When did you last top up?

Depending on your tariff the SIM may have been disconnected for none use.

As we are just customers here I would suggest

They should be able to help you.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

If you think your phone is misbehaving because you forgot to top-up, the mobiletopup site near the end of this guide works well from anywhere with very little extra overhead, @overseas Guide How to Top Up (PAYG)

You might want to think about getting a local PAYG SIM to get yourself up and running in the short term if the suggestions already made don't immediately solve your issue.

Have you tried rebooting your phone?
