@Nkw1976 You may have a spend cap on your account. You'll need to speak to customer service Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support 

O2 aren't very much interested in talking to customers these days unless they're buying something or upgrading. If you want to discuss your issue with customer service, below is alternative advice from an O2 Guru on how to get through.
Call 202 from your mobile.
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.

Or use the Upgrade, Lost/Stolen, or Fraud option to get through. Otherwise you'll just be disconnected.

Have you registered here first https://www.o2.co.uk/charge-to-mobile ?

On PAYG you are only restricted by your amount of credit available.

On iPhone:

  1. Go to the App Store.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and tap your Apple ID.
  3. Tap ‘View Apple ID’ and sign in.
  4. Go to ‘Payment Information’.
  5. Select ‘Mobile Phone’.
  6. Tap ‘Use This Mobile Number’.
