My phone has capability for an "e-sim card". I'm wondering if I could convert my sim to a virtual sim to use this facility? If so, how?

You just need to order one and do a sim swap

Normally you have to order one but if you have been moved to the new billing system you can do a swap from plastic to eSIM in My-O2

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
