I want to change my o2 login username to be one of my secondary email addresses (that I use all of the time because its shorter and easier to type than my primary address I was given by o2 when I set up Broadband).
But when I try, I get an error message saying that it is not one of my "linked" addresses. It clearly is, because a) it is listed as my email contact under my account personal details; and b) it is listed as one of my secondary email account on the o2 email page.
Why can't I change my username?

If you call Customer Services they should be able to set it as your email address provided there isn't already an account linked to it.
