First Mobile Phone.

Bought this, my first mobile, 30 years ago this month 

Just a phone, only 8 number memory and no back-light

At the time they said mobiles fry the brain. After 30 years and 5 different generations it seems I'm OK

What was your first mobile?

This was my first, the Motorola M760 on one2one... no texts, just calls...

Motorola Timeport L7089 tri-band (worked in the US too!) from the local O2 shop with genie SIM in contract. I still have the same number!

I do miss the Timeport, keep looking at Ebay to get a cheap one...

I think the one I liked best, of the candy-bar type, was the Sony Ericsson W810i:

The P1i, with stylus and knurled side-mounted scrolling wheel, was quite, different...

Clicky rocker keys, noisy!

Of all my phones I still have this and it still works. Bought it unlocked
