I have a lovely memorable telephone number but I'm moving overseas and just want to "park" my number until I return in a low cost pay-as-you-go or sim only.

 

I would however like to keep the account running for my daughter.

 

Is it possible to port my number OUT and replace it with a new o2 supplied number?

You would need to pay the remainder of the contract before you could have access to the number. Even then you would have to transfer it to a PAYG which you would need to keep active with top ups until you use it. 

Can your daughter not keep using it till the end of the contract and then do the transfer?
