When I attempt to accept a call it is rejected.
When I try to call my speaker icon goes dull and I am unable to connect the call.

Try your sim in another phone to see if it is the phone or sim at fault?

If sim, contact O2 for a new one Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support 

If phone, contact Apple to diagnose the fault https://www.apple.com/uk/retail/geniusbar/

Checked sim.. was ok.
Apple ran some tests and said to bring phone into shop for further tests.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction
