I will be travelling to Australia soon and I was wondering about the bolt on options - I can upgrade my current sim to include 'O2 International Bolt on' but I am not sure whether this will cover me for calls, texts and data when I am there? Equally I see there is the 'O2 Travel Inclusive Zone Bolt on', so I am not sure whether I would need to add this to my tariff instead?

The Travel Inclusive Bolt on will cover your tariff (calls, texts Data) for no charge whilst in Australia

NB The International Bolt on is for use in the UK whilst making contact with countries abroad. Not what you need at at all.

The O2 International Bolt-On works to reduce, for a small monthly fee, the cost of calls you make from the UK to other countries, @Jamie25
You have, if on a contract tariff, a couple of choices: O2 Travel Inclusive, which comes to you free on certain O2 Plus Plan Tariffs, or if you are a contract customer of both O2 and Virgin Media and have signed up to Volt.
Next is O2 Travel, which will cost you £6 per 24hrs that you use it.
If PAYG, then the standard charges apply, all shown here: https://www.o2.co.uk/international/using-your-phone-abroad
Some tips before you travel in here: Guide: Roaming MegaGuide and here for Volt, if that applies to you: Volt Megaguide
Note if you use O2 Travel as your Bolt-on of choice, disable your Voicemail before you leave the UK, to save triggering the £6/24hrs charge any time your phone answers a call and passes the caller to Voicemail: Guide: All you need to know about O2 Voicemail 901
Hope you get a reasonable use of your phone on your travels, and if you have to rely on free WiFi during your travels, try to get your family and friends to use WhatsApp, so you can message, call, video call and share photos of your travels for zero cost when you have access to free WiFi in hotels or restaurants, etc. Good luck!
