Moved a sim from simple Doro phone to MOTO smart phone

To help my father keep better contact including video calls i gave him a MOTO smart phone and moved the sim from the doro then updted the tarriff.  The MY02 account still shows the device as a DORO, i though it would have picked up new phone.   Does it matter or will phone function normally?  If it matters how do i change the phone on the account?

It doesn't matter..

It should update itself eventually but system is on a go slow at the moment.
