Leaving 02

Hi so I have already found another provider and have told them the PAC code and they’ve sent me a sim ready to activate but I got a message about my next bill for 02 like normal… do I just switch over now or is there some way of telling 02 I’m leaving and to stop charging me. I have phoned and spoke to customer service they aren’t much help. I did the pac code on the 14/08/24 and my contact “end date” is 13/09/24 but end date don’t mean nothing as they’ll still charge me?

Your O2 contract will end once the new provider moves your number to them.

O2 will generate the final bill, so leave your direct debit in place until that is taken.
