Hi, I'm new to this forum but have just had an email from my02@o2mail.co.uk and I'm not sure if it's real or a scam. It literally just said this....... Your SIM swap request is successful. Activation may take up to 24hrs.
but I have not requested a SIM Swap. We did swap my sister from Vodafone to O2 back in April, but she had the temp number for a couple of days then we got all the info

The domain is legit but email may have been sent in error or by someone else for nefarious means.
We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this or call 202 from your phone.
