Spam sent to O2 forum email address

Anonymous
Not applicable
This morning I received a spam/phishing email sent to the address I used to sign up to O2 forums. I've not used this email address for anything else, and it's unlikely it would be randomly guessed. I use a different email address for most things I sign up to online.
The email title is "Your account opening is completed" and supposedly from Commonwealth Bank.
Is there an admin I should report this too, and has anyone else had similar experience?
My email address is not shown in my profile.

I got that email this morning. However, the address it was sent to was not the one I use here and one that has been little used in the past 12 months.
These people have a thousand and one ways of getting email addresses but I doubt it has been via this site or O2
Thankfully, my spam filter keeps them out of my inbox. Although I do sometimes read them when I am in need of a laugh grin

Yes....so did I and on that email address I rarely see spam.....can't remember the last time.
Looks like this site has been hijacked and is being used via > http://www.wallace-funeralhomes.com/
http://www.whoisxy.com/t3resultpage.asp ... rid=115923
So "@cba.com.au" will now be filtered into the deep blue abyss.

I also got this to an email address I only used when I signed up with O2 / forums.
Purported to be from the Co-operative bank .co.uk. But the link goes to http://www.bevenyoung.com.au/coop/
I've not used this email address for anything else, so appears that the email list has been compromised/stolen and the above site highjacked.
Posting this just for info, so O2 can maybe try and find the source of the compromise of my contact details.

Yes, I got the Co-op one this morning.
From the email header I received :
Received: from web1.dotcharm.com (anzianotech.com. )

It looks like http://www.anzianotech.com and http://www.bevanyoung.com have been hacked

Same here, and is on an email address used only for o2, never used anywhere else. Something has been compromised somewhere. As you can see I've never even posted in the forum before
