I unfortunately went bankrupt 6 years back after losing my business, and for some reason O2 only put one half of the agreement in the bankruptcy (why did they ever split a contract in 2 in the first place?). They then defaulted the other half 6 months later. So now, 6 YEARS later when it has all dropped off my credit report....guess what's left? Yes, O2! for another 6 months unless I do something about it.

Then you try and get through to the amendment team (amendmentteam@o2.com) and email tango with faceless morons like Sumeet, Sunny and then Gordon who either dont understand the issue, or they doint care and they say things like "We have checked your credit file and can see there is a £225 balance on your O2-033795294-001 due to which we cannot make any changes on your credit file".....No, NO you stupid chimps!

Its not my fault O2's policy 6 years back was to split their agreements into two, its not my fault they then decided to only chuck one part in the bankruptcy and not the other, its not my fault they then DID decide to default me...but 6 months later when the bankruptcy was all done and dusted?

Look, I've seen this before. I have owned businesses and worked in many call centers like Lloyds TSB, Barclays, Coop bank, etc....I call it the 'back office rot'. Its what happens when you shelter a department away from facing the customer.

They slowly realize that they are not accountable and don't answer to anyone. This power goes to their head and they realize that you need them, and they don't need you. It is common in the public sector or any organization that isn't trying to WIN customers. Examples are the DVLA, NHS, social security depts....they don't need you! Try calling with them and getting them to do what you need them to do. In the end, you start losing your temper and resorting to threats like going to ombudsman's, legal route, etc..

You start picturing what sort of slimy people end up in these unaccountable back office depts. Lonely cat ladies or beta males who were bullied in school. Clicking their little mouse buttons and when they reply to your email, they flip off the computer screen and smile flashing their wonky teeth. I bet they have no windows and its down in a basement.

Yes, I am angry! Trashing my credit report after my 6 year wait with your admin error...and then hiding in your back office team with email only access. Your not taking anymore of my day up today. I have just wasted an hour trying to get to those little s**ts hiding in the amendment team!

May the gods curse that TOXIC back office amendment department hiding from the O2 customers doing untold damage with their 4 line reply acknowledging nothing to my multi paragraph explanation.

Well, there is now nobody here from O2 and us customers who are regular know how bad things can be, so all we can offer is sympathy

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

The sympathy is more than you'll get from O2. I'm going through similar at the moment. These c***s are going to screw my credit file and stop me upgrading with them in the future. Rotten company nowadays. Where is best place to go to actually get someone at the top to act? Looking at Trustpilot, I don't think they care. There is no customer relations.

Your only recourse @Kosmos5457 is the O2 complaints' team :-

How to Complain | Help | O2

https://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain

Customer+Complaints+code+250924+V0.2.comp.pdf

https://www.o2.co.uk/documents/456036/3782743/Customer+Complaints+code+250924+V0.2.comp.pdf

It is currently taking O2 up to eight weeks to investigate and respond to complaints so please do not expect early resolution. 👍
