i have had no network since 26th Nov 2024 and every time I ring or get in touch with customer support they say it will take 10-14 working days to sort the issue out.
I have been very patient and still nothing.
customer support say they have raise a internal ticket with the back room or Tech support and i am still sat with no Network or sim activation.
I originally had a esim which stopped working and rang up and the lady on the phone said she will try a new esim and I should try to activate which I could not so was told it was my phone and then i had to pay £50 to get my phone checked through the insurance which came back as no fault with the phone. So then rang back and asked for plastic sim and they said they could not send one out and I should walk in to the o2 shop and they will issue one over the counter which was incorrect as there was a open issue on my account and they could not give me the sim. Long story short I got a sim by post and then when tried to register and activate it they couldn't because of this open issue on my account so today is the 9th Dec 2024 and I am still with out network and o2 say they can not do anything until the tech team or back room team sort the issue out. I can not speak to anyone who can resolve the issue so a waiting game and it is paretic. Been a customer for over 15yrs and always paid my bills on time.
O2 sort your app out as can not speak to anyone who can help and if you ring in you are held online for minimum of an hour and even then they can not help it is a joke.

Cathartic, perhaps, @mk73 - but nobody from O2 will read that here, just us customers, like yourself.
Guide: How to find help & contact O2 has links to Social Media in the middle of it - use X DM link if X and you get on, or FB Messenger link if you're an FB guy - be persistent and see if that predominantly UK-based support team can help you out.
Meantime, investigate WiFi calling if your home broadband has good connectivity - https://www.o2.co.uk/connectivity/wifi-and-4g-calling
Good luck!
