As a technophobe with Dyslexia I find trying to find out something as simple as getting my phone unlocked or upgraging immencely frustrating.
I seem to go round in circles from link to link, and even when I find a link called "prefer to pick up the phone" or something like that, it goes no where and doesn't even offer a number to call.
Is it to much to ask for a "speak to a Guru link and join a queue
Very frustrated customer

@AnonymousI just want to say, if you have any problems whatsoever (as long as they aren't account related) please come back to the forum and ask us here. There are many knowledgeable people who know a lot about phones, devices and O2 systems etc....If you feel happier dealing with us... you really are most welcome. I know other members will support these comments.:smileywink:

Hi @Anonymous with your dyslexia I expect you will always find it better to speak to someone directly http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus All the numbers you need are in the link. Basically it's 202 if you are on contract 4445 if pay as you go...though there are others as well...If you ring them between 8-8.30am you will usually find someone who will be sympathetic and helpful

Thank you the information.
I am still mistified as to why you don't have a simple link to chat to a Guru, and why its obviously difficult to find these simple numbers to call, at least 02 aren't unique in making moving suppliers difficult.
However can you tell me why there is only a 30 minute window and why its 8-8.30am
Regards

Hi @Anonymous There isn't just a 30 minute window. They are open from 8am to 9pm. We were simply giving you information about the best time to call or chat. For instance I contacted live chat 3 days ago. I made contact at 8.13am. I connected immediately. One of my colleagues on here tried the same 4 hrs later and couldn't get through....So it was simply our best advice to help you further....:smileywink:
There is also another link for mobile chat...http://www.o2.co.uk/mobile/chatnow
Edited to add: For further info all numbers and options for contacting O2 advisors are here in the link at the bottom of every page http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

Well that worked not.
I call your 202 number answer a number of questions to unlock my phone and an automated response said my Phon would be unlocked with 72 hours (might have been 48), I then get an E-mail which states that my phone can't be unlocked as its not an 02 phone
Well my phone says its on 02 network, my bill comes from 02 and it's only ever been on 02, the IMEI number is correct and the phone number is correct, so excuse me being dim but ITS A 02 PHONE,
looks like I was right that nothing on this site is customer friendly, glad my contract has ended.

That means the phone isn't locked so you can just use any network sim you like.
