Delivery reports...

Hi, new here!

Just had a Sony W995 on O2 (brill phone) and have turned on the delivery report feature on the phone. I'm not getting any delivery reports.

Phoned O2 this morning to tell them I wasn't getting them and they told me to try rebooting my phone by removing the battery for a few minutes. This didn't work.

After reading up on the subject, does it still stand that O2 don't support this feature and by entering *0# at the start of a text message, I will get a delivery report? Why didn't they tell me this on the phone this morning??

Just find it really odd as I've always used this feature on other networks.

O2 do not support delivery reports so why CS didn't tell you isn't really acceptable. I can only assume that the advisor wasn't aware or didn't understand your query. The networks that do provide delivery reports apparently make a charge for this. The *0# is free to use.

I used *0# a lot on my previous phones and this code doesn't show on the receiving mobile message, however, on my new Iphone it does! Bit embarrasing to explain why this is in front of the message you sent to them.... :robotsurprised:

The only "OTHER" network that charges for SMS Delivery Report is Orange.

T-Mobile - 3 - Voda do not charge

I was on orange pay as you go before i got a contract with O2, as orange didn't charge for the delivery report. I have the same problem with not receiving delivery reports on 02, the *0# does work, but hope that doesn't cost
