Overcharged

I've had a business contract  for 16 years, all paid monthly by direct debit at £40 a month.

I queried this amount today and have been told I've been paying too much. I should only be paying about £15. So I asked for a refund for all those years. Told they will offer £50 because I should have noticed before and it's a roll on contract so stays the same price.

Obviously this is rubbish.

Before I go to OFTEL and issue a money claim through the courts, what is the chance they will refund all those years without going to court. They know it was overcharged because they offered co.pensation of £50?

You'll need to raise a complaint first before you can take your case to the Ombudsman.

OFFCOM will not be in the slightest interested.
