iphone 7 update fix

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have an iphone 4s given as a present (on a monthly rolling contract), updated with ios 7 package yesterday, I have an older style o2 package allowing unlimited internet (I do not want to change this ever as is at a low cost price I cannot afford to increase), when previous apple updates occurred I had to reset APN for mobile data and mms, under ios7 this is not working and allowing 3g access.

Does anyone know if apple have released a hotfix for this error yet, please

many thanks

Diane

Is the Service Status for your postcode saying that all services are fine ?

Have you called o2 on 202 to have your account checked over.

You could book your iphone in with the genius bar to have a diagnostic run on it.

Hi

Did you carry out the carrier update right at the end of the ios 7 update.

Have you turned off 3g to try it on 2g ?

I know you have looked at your APN's but please just re check them to enure all is ok.

http://www.geeksquad.co.uk/articles/chapter/595-04-how-to-set-apn-settings-for-the-02-mobile-network and they are set up right for Contract or Payg.

Check your service status just to make sure its not your masts that are having issues.

Sometimes giving your sim a wipe helps.

Try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Alo check with o2 Customer Services that your account is Ok.
