I'm suddenly unable to send messages to my husband's mobile.  I have an iPhone 4S, he has a samsung Galaxy 4S.  Until yesterday afternoon I could text with him with no problems, now I just get message failure.  I have plenty of credit, and I've checked the number and it's fine.  I CAN text him from my daughter's Nokia, so it seems like it's just me 😞  I've tried turning it on and off.

Also - I CAN phone him, just not text.

Hi.

Try

Deleting the contact and re enter it.

Make sure you've not added him to your blocked list.
Check by going into settings, phone , blocked.
If you have then go into the contact and unblock him there.

i had something similar with my wife. she couldn't receive text from me but i could from here. she has an s4. eventually it turned out to be the spam filter. its very easy to turn the spam filter on for a specific number wiothout realising you've done it. To check the spam filter on the samsung you need to go onto the contact and press the settings vitual button on the bottom left of the phone. a selection will appear on the screen and one of the options is remove spam. Also check to see who else is in spam and all your messages than have been spam filtered will remain on the phone until you delete them

I agree with the above. Your husband has you on his message blocked list.
