Me again!!!
Quick question:
My son has a Pay as You Go GiffGaff SIM card in his iPhone 4 and we will be giving him an iPhone 5, very soon.
This link:
https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT202645
...shows that an iPhone 4 uses a "Micro SIM Card" and an iPhone 5 uses a "Nano SIM Card".
My question though is this - is the difference, literally just the plastic around the actual gold SIM part??
i.e. Would I be able to cut the plastic around the gold SIM on the Micro SIM card, so that it fits into the SIM tray for the iPhone 5, or will I need a new SIM altogether?!

You can cut the sim card down, but it's very easy to damage them if you don't do it right. Easiest thing to do is request a blank nano sim from GiffGaff and do a sim swap. That way you're certain that it will work.

Hi @DinoF,
I used to work over at giffgaff, and getting a new SIM and swapping as the guys have suggested is by far the better option. Cutting it is irreversible if you get it wrong and easy to do! I have some mild experience in that haha.
