Roaming abroad

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi

Having trouble with data abroad but not messages and phone calls. Spoke to O2 and they suggested (like other posts) to turn off the EU Internet setting. i have explained to them that there is no setting on the phone. Not sure whether its because the phone was previously on Vodafone and is now unlocked and it is on O2

The phone is Iphone 6 running ios 10.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks

Have you tried manually selecting a different network?
Also try resetting the phone by holding the power and home buttons down till you get the Apple logo, then release.

EU Internet option was removed in IOS 10.
Are you on idata for your phones APN setting?

Network settings in phone menu.
They are what controls the data connection on the phone.
