Buying a refurbished iphone 5

Hi, if I buy a refurbished iphone 5 from O2, has it been refurbished by Apple? I can't decide whether to get a new 16gb or a refurbished 32gb

Be aware that if you buy an iPhone 5 from O2 it will not be 4G compatible.

We aren't totally sure if they are as a couple have been reported here as having non-standard parts and rejected from being repaired.

As far as im aware only Apple carry work out on their iphones.

You would need to double check with o2 Customer Services.

Thanks for the replies, I've contacted O2 and they say it is themselves and not Apple who have refurbished it, maybe I ought to go for a new phone.
