Not registered on network means your phone isn't registered on network (surprisingly) therefore nothing will work.
This could be a failure of phone, sim or network so you need to see firstly if anyone else on O2 can get a signal and if so try your sim in another phone to see if the fault follows your phone or sim?
If it is the sim card you are best to pop into your local o2 shop for a sim swap which they will do for you - It's the quickest and easiest way although you can order one from CS and do it yourself but this will take longer.

If it's just a temp glitch, restarting the phone should fix it, as mentioned above.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi

I assume everything else works as it should such as calling and data.

Check your messaging centre number is correct.

Try removing the sim, clean reinsert and turn back in.

Check Input your Full PostCode here to check your local Masts -> http://status.o2.co.uk

Have you just from another network or upgraded?

Make sure the handset isn't set to 4G only through the network settings.

It may also be worth while turning the handset off fully then turning it back on to pull through any settings.
