what are the out going email settings for the s3 mini, i cant get mine to send emails but they recieve ok

The outgoing settings will be O2 anyway, so you will need to replace the outgoing settings with smtp.o2.co.uk on port 110.

Who is your email provider? POP or IMAP?

I always use my own providers settings, but if you use O2SMTP make sure you untick "SSL" and if port 110 fails try port 25.
