one of my contacts is not receiving text messages

Recently I have been having issues with one of my contacts not receiving text messages from me. I call them and they can call me, I receive their messages. We have both taken sim cards out but nothing has changed. Can anyone help

What phone are they using?
Some phones, esp Samsung's, have a separate call and text block facility so it's possible that they may have accidentally added your number to their text block list.

They need to check their blocked number list in the sms app. It's quite possibly been done accidentally. It does happen a lot.
