Hi e1, i bought my galaxy s4 gt i9505 from o2 instpre in june 13, it was great at 1st then started having problems, sent it into repair at o2 and it had swollen battery and they replaced an electric module, it was over heating so sent in for repair a 2nd time, came bk "without any fault" still over heating so took bk again a 3rd time this time it was escalated instore and o2 replaced my handset. I was greatful for this, the phone is in immaculate condition same as brand new, 2 daya after pickibg it up this phone has become faulty with the rotation not working. Ive tried all the obvious and did a factory reset, all worked again for like 2 minutes after but then stopped working i factory reset 2 more times and still not working. Ive looked up online and it appears to be the gyroscope,.

I did the *#02*# and self test the gyroscope it says Fail. Tried the other sensors too inc light and all the other sensors fail too...

What i want to know is where i stand now, will they just again send this phone off for repair for the 3 repair rule or will they replace it again i wonder? Am at the end of me wits now, all i want is a phone that works and not faulty.

On a positive note the staff in the store have been great so far and have even emailed the store manager to say so

I look forward to any replies.

Thanks

Steve

I'd be asking (politely) for another replacement.....

Hi Steve,

Sorry to hear of your experiences with your phone.

I would have thought the previous repairs on the original phone would have been struck out due to the phone being replaced.

Have you considered contacting the phone manufacturer for assistance.

Generally we suggest this as they will more informed handle on their hardware and software.

http://www.phonearena.com/news/Samsung-acknowledges-Galaxy-S4-swelling-battery-issue-offers-free-rep... perhaps time to get samsung involved as the battery issue may have caused other damage.

Note that the samsung 2 year warranty overides the basic protection offered by the soga. see the details in this thread http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-and-Pay-Go/Exploding-Charger-O2-Samsung-or-ANOVO/m-p/588292...
