First thing you should do, unless you have already done it, is to reboot the phone. Turn it off and back on again. Often this is all that's required to kickstart the update and settle the phone into working properly again after the update. if this doesn't work then come back for further help
Edit: I have popped back to say after a google search this appears to be a common issue with S5's after updates, usually refers to one of the Google apps which has stopped working .
