Sony Aqua phone memory capacity

Hi,I am now really fed up! After a recent upgrade from Sony ,I now can't transfer data to my SD card.The memory is constantly full as it is and I have removed almost everything and constsntly clear cache.Its almost useless and I still have a year to go in contract

Can't set as adoptable on Xperia without ADB command and even then it fails often.
Clearing cache in storage settings should free up a fair chunk.

I'm guessing you have the M4 with only 8gb onboard storage?

Apparently the latest update takes up far more of the operating system than previously. I'm not sure there is any way round this and there was a recent thread with the same issue.

I don't know if it's an option on the phone but one way around it would be to use a large capacity sd card set as adoptable storage.

Yup, 8gb shouldn't even be an option nowadays Imo, even on mid range some people still want apps and need storage
