Samsung Galaxy S3 mini won't receive texts

Anonymous
Not applicable
My samsung galaxy s3 won't receive text messages despite having full signal. I have also checked the coverage checker and that's all fine. I know I have texts to receive some sent 8 hours ago and I'm yet to receive them. I've tried taking sim and battery out and restarting phone and checking the messaging centre number and restore to default message settings and have had no hope. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same problem, I could receive texts this morning, up untill about half 9 this morning. Then all of a sudden they have just stopped. It's so annoying, I even factory reset just to see if it would resolve my issue. Now I know they have problems, it's kinda took a weight off my mind, although, it's nearly 8 PM now, and still nothing... How long will it take?

Update 23:45hrs

The intermittent problems experienced by some of our customers today have now been resolved.

Routine upgrade work on our 2G and 3G networks led to unexpected congestion affecting around 1% of O2 customers. We apologise to those customers and thank them for their patience.
