Just got back from Australia where I found I couldn't make calls on my S7 Edge. Neither could my brother-in-law who had a different phone / network. Kept saying we weren't connected. My wife, who has a cheap £10 pay as you go phone, could. Anyone know why this should be or had similar issues? Was I suppossed to activate something on the phone?
Tried various settings over a three day period and ran up £15 charges using O2 Travel for no gain. Went into a Telstra office in Melbourne who couldn't help us (though probably weren't interested).
Got the phone from Carphone Wharehouse in August.

Thanks for responding. Connected to Telstra automatically when I arrived. Additionally Network Mode in settings shows LTE / 3G / /2G (auto connect) was on. Data Roaming was on; also tried without. I shall now take my cheap pay as you go Nokia when I go abroad. Never had this problem in USA with my last smart phone. Cheers

LTE should not be enabled.
