Restart an LG Google Nexus 4

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hey Folks,

If i just want to restart the LG Google Nexus 4, do i just go to Settings-Backup and Reset - Factory Data Reset?

Basically my micro sim and number porting needs a phone restart but I'm worried that everything will get erased off the phone if I do the above but I cannot see another way to turn the phone on and off.  Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I need help.  Thanks!

Can you not just long press the on/off switch? This should give an option to switch off or restart? You don't want to reset the phone back to factory settings.
