Hi all,

sorry if this is the wrong board (dont use the community much), but i upgraded to the pixel 6 pro just over a week ago and was told immediately that this was out of stock (which the o2 twitter feed continue to state and just say 'you will recieve notification when this order is ready').

Has anyone else encounted a similar issue? Lack of correspondence / guidance?

Thanks

Unfortunately o2 don't have a live stock system @PTTP9 so for popular phones there may well be a wait when the website doesn't show this.

o2 will just keep repeating that you will get an email when the phone is despatched and unless you get a sympathetic customer services person you will only get the standard reply.

@Chris_K is the best one to advise on this kind of thing, so hopefully he will see this and can update on the latest shipping times for the Pixel 6 Pro.

There is also another couple of threads about this phone that might help:

@PTTP9

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Thanks

Thanks. I have raised this with o2 on twitter but with the same generic response. Just wondered if anyone had had a similar issue and if they had any more helpful information after they raised it?

Hi there, and really sorry for the delay - I'm hoping your order may have already arrived by now?

When you pre-ordered, there would have been a delivery timescale mentioned on the main page. I know it's not ideal, but that delivery timescale unfortunately isn't captured or mentioned on your order or confirmation email, so I understand the frustration there but unfortunately it won't be possible to know exactly when your phone will be delivered to you.

If when you ordered you were quoted 'up to 2 weeks', that's based on our stock forecasts which rarely ever slip so if it was up to 2 weeks for instance, I'd imagine you'll get an order update sometime this week.

I'm really sorry - I know this info is as useful as a chocolate teapot, and you'll probably roll your eyes at me when I say as soon as there's progress with your order, you'll get a notification. At this stage we're essentially just waiting on a stock delivery that has your order number assigned to it. As soon as that arrives at our warehouse it gets scanned into our systems, then if your order number is linked to one of those devices, it gets flagged for fulfilment and then our delivery process kicks in, which is when you'll get an update.
