I can not make or recieve calls or texts the phone says insert sim there is one in there

@pixiec Make sure the sim is seated in the sim tray correctly. If it is, the sim may be faulty. Contact O2 to request a new one: How to find help & contact O2: A Guide - O2 Community
Use Skype Guide: A Guide to Skype to call 0800 032 1402 free if you have no phone to use.
Or call into an O2 store, if you have one nearby and they'll provide a new sim with your account details on it. Be sure to bring photo identification with you.
