OnePlus 3T - Sim lock confirmation

Hi All,

 

I have seen a few posts around here stating that the OnePlus 3 was shipping unlocked as per the AMA on reddit and widely unknown to the o2 staff but do we have any confirmation that this same rule applies to the 3T? 

 

I would be interested in picking up the 3T probably later today or tomorrow but ideally I need to know that I will be able to use my Three sim in this first.

 

Any kind people on these forums that have already purchased this device be able to confirm/deny this for me I would be eternally grateful.

Hi @Anonymous It was supposed to be sold as unlocked as I understand.... I expect you know it is a dual sim?

If any other members can confirm it is unlocked though I would be grateful....?

@Cleoriff Thanks for your response. I feel I may go and buy one later today and if worst comes to worst return the handset on the 14 day chhange of mind policy. If I get the chance to do this today I will make sure to update as soon as I know.

@Anonymous  You may find that there aren't any of that model in stock at this time of year. You'd be wise to phone your local store to check, to save yourself a wasted trip.
