Galaxy Note 3 - 4G/LTE

Anonymous
Not applicable

I purchased a pay monthly 4g plan and a Galaxy Note 3 from O2 last week. Yesterday I went to somewhere with apparent excellent 4g coverage indoors and outdoors (post code B44 8BH) however I occasionally only received H+ and H on my notification bar and download speed topped out at 6mbps...

What notification symbol should I see when 4g lte is connected?

Yes it all sounds good - must have been an issue with your location.

It will show "4G"

Did you get a new sim and are you using it in the Note 3?

Check in your "My O2" and look in the bolt ons section to make sure it lists a 4G bolt on.

Whilst I note this post series will soon be moved, this might be a silly question so please forgive me but did you sign up to a 4g tariff? ??

@Anonymous I have just checked mine and ì find the same as you. My bolt on screen just says 5gb. I have to go to my tariff where it says 24m 4g.

Yes. The OP says they signed up to a 4g tariff so was just checking that actually was what they were sold.

I received the sim card with the phone as a new o2 customer.

My tariff is: O2 Refresh ultd 24M 8GB 4G

Bit disappointed that 4g didn't appear for me once though!

Phone is an N9005 which I believe should support 4g?
