Forgot password after device restart

My son has a Huawei p20 lite his phones done an update and restarted during the night but he now can't remember the password to get back into the phone how can we resolve this please?

Hi @Liz_t - is it the O2 SIM PIN or the device password that is getting in the way?

This is out there for resetting the device and associated password - you will need to have a good backup to restore your contacts and apps back into the phone afterwards though...
