I have checked using the postcode & everything is up and running as far O2 are concerned, I checked the phone and an O2 APN is set up on the phone but I haven't had any data for a while now. Can anyone advise me how best to get data working again?

Try removing and cleaning the sim and rebooting the phone.
You could try a soft reset by holding down the off/on button and the home button until the phone reboots.
Is anyone else that you know on O2 in the area having problems?

Thanks for your response the guy in the local supermarket told me two weeks ago he had data probs with Giff Gaff ie. O2 network but that's all. I will try a soft reset & then the sim card many thanks.
