Hi
I've a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge on O2, purchased on contract from Carphone Warehouse.
The handset is standard and has NOT been rooted. CSC is G935FXEU1BPK2.
The last installed Android Security Patch Level is 1st Nov 2016.
Why is this so far behind - Samsung's website suggests they have might have Feb 2017 updates available, so it's potentially 2 or 3 updates behind (and some UK people have report having received a Dec update).
I've tried manually checking for updates via Settings -> About device but it claims I'm on the latest.
I appreciate Nougat shouldn't be too far away but that's no reason to leave devices unpatched while we wait?!
Who is to 'blame'? O2, CPW or Samsung?
Thanks, Jon.

The thing is, you say it is the vendor's problem, but I have the same problem on my HTC One M8 on O2. For this reason I cannot install my company's corporate email app on my phone for mobile access.
Other users have found that by taking the O2 SIm card out, the phone finds the updates, but with the O2 SIM card inserted the security patch is hidden, anad it says "Your phone is up to date."
