Hi peeps! Simple question - does my iPhone need to be turned on to use my iWatch 4 as a phone?Currently that seems to be the case. But I wonder, why I wouldn't I be able to call (for help) if my iPhone was damaged (in an accident say).Please help!

Good afternoon. Internet not working. Phone is showing 3g at the top. Phone settings are set to 4g and mobile data is turned on. I have phoned o2, they said they have changed something and to wait 24 hrs?. Anyone else had this problem?
