I’ve got an iPhone 14plus and have been told by 02 support that if I want 5g I need a new 5g simdoes that sound right?

HELP

I want to move to a rolling plan, but it won't let me. I can't get on wifi calling, so I can't make a call because I can't get credit, the virtual assistant did not understand me. Can someone help!
