Hi, I'm trying to sort out a SIM swap for my dad's phone but his phone is unable to receive text messages it is currently saying Calls and SMS O2 (temporarily unavailable). Are you able to help?

We’re just customers like you and there is no o2 support on these forums,  but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. if you send them a message on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), or you can call 202 from your o2 phone or 0344 809 0202 from any other phone.

Is this the new sim or the old one?

To do a sim swap you need to start from the old sim Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update
