Can I use my iPad as a personal hotspot? I’ve gone into settings, but it diverts me to o2 to set it up.

If you're pay monthly, check your data apn is set to idata.o2.co.uk

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Please bear in mind @Boycee2004 that using a mobile 'phone or an iPad as a hotspot is great for occasional use, but it should not be used as a long-term arrangement as it will cause the device's battery to deteriorate and to eventually fail to hold a charge.

In the early days of Covid, I did a lot of "hotspotting" using a Samsung Galaxy 'phone. I ended up having to have Samsung install a new battery at significant expense. 🙄
