Transferred from Plusnet mobile to O2 3 days ago. Received the new SIM. Phone Number is blank on my phone, and my old number has not been ported. I do have the new number written down, but want to retain my old number hence why when I  signed up I entered the PAC code.

My wife also changed her O2 monthly plan to a new one, received a new SIM.. again, no number on the phone.. she was already an O2 customer.

Also, despite the coverage map being as good as Plusnet, even in a busy town, the speed of connection on 4G is appauling - I didn't thioink I was going to be able to use my wallet to pay for my food shopping because it too so long to come up. I did a speed test and even the app wouldn't load.

I have also lost the ability to have WiFi calling - no icon available to turn it on.

Not happy .. hoping someone can help resolve

@RichieP1

This is a customer to customer community, not O2.
You need to contact O2.
Message them on Social Media. Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or give them a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (contract) 4445 or 0344 8090222 (PAYG)

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

I was not aware PlusNet had WiFi Calling  It was one of the biggest complaints on their forum.

If you contact O2 via the methods in the previous posts then O2 will activate WiFi Calling on your account.

If you wanted similar reception to Plus Net then EE would have been the best bet.

If you are within 14 days you can cancel

Guide: Cancelling Your Contract

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
