Hi, I'm having issues with getting service on my phone, I noticed for a while my phone would say said emergency calls only for small periods of time before going back to normal but now I keep getting "no service - selected network (02-uk) not available". By messing with connnection settings and trying to rescan for the network I can sometimes briefly connect for 30 seconds before it stops. My partner has no issues with his 02 service and we live together. I have also travelled recently for work and being in a different location hasn't made any difference. I spoke to 02 and they aren't sure what the issue is and are sending me a new sim to try which should be here in a couple of days. Could this type of issue be my phone or is it more likely to be a sim/service issue? Thanks

If O2 have dispatched a new SIM to you, via Royal Mail, they will have disabled your current SIM (this seems to be happening all the time these past few months, based on calls for help here on the Forum). You will have to wait for the SIM to arrive, and once you put it into your phone in place of your current SIM, take things from there with assistance from O2. Good luck, @Holly15.

You can try your partners sim in your phone to see what happens.
