Sony Xperia Z1 On 4g

Hello guys I got my new Sony Xperia Z1 and just started setting it up but when I bought it simfree pay as u go yesterday they said it's got 4g but when I check the options it only shows gsm mode or wcdma how comes it don't show lte or 4g ?....any ideas ...

Had a s4 with originally but gave that away so had to spend money on the Z1

When I went to the setting it only gives me 2 options either gsm or wcdma ?...shall I update it to jellybean software cus it's updating now @Anonymous

Put your postcode in the service status link I added earlier.

Try turning the phone off and on.
